JPop Dance Mix
As usual, this Friday, DJ Metal Wing (myself) will doing LIVE DJ session for you! This time the theme is JPop Dance Mix, meaning you will get to hear some jumpy poppy music, hehe.
The time is the same as always as well - 9:00 p.m. EST (6:00p.m. PST)
Website Update:
Please notice that the Radio webpage changed! By going to http://animewave.net/radio.html you will now see a new page that displays Currently playing, coming up, and history of all songs. You also get to see top 10 requests.
New Feature! Requests are now automated. Because I am obviously not at the computer 24/7, the station is in an AutoDJ mode, meaning it will play songs that have been queued up. The new system follows a particular set of rules that are used on the Radio stations around the world:
RULE 1: NO SONG REPEATS WITHIN 3 HOURS RULE 2: DIFFERENT GENRE FOR EACH PLAY RULE 3: NO ARTIST REPEATS WITHIN AN HOUR RULE 4: CHECK QUEUE LIST RULE 5: CHECK NUMBER OF PLAYS
The rules 1 to 3 are self explanatory. Those rules make sure that you, as a lsitener, get a variety of music. Rule 4 will activate at times such as a Song request. If you try to request a song that's already in a queue, it will let you know Rule 5 will check how often the song has been played and assign penalty points (more plays = more penalty), meaning the song will not be played for a longer period of time)
To request a song simply proceed to click on 'Playlist & Requests'. There you will see all the songs I have, and are able to request any of them as long as they match the rules. (Occasionally an error will come up. I am working on getting it fixed, but for now, simply close the popup window and request again)
===========IMPORTANT NOTICE===========
In compliance with RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) the following rules are imposed upon all radio stations:
The webcast is not limited to particular users who pay for it (that's the ``non-subscription'' part.) The user must not be able to choose and receive a particular recording: that is, no playing songs on demand. In a three hour period, you can't play more than three tracks from a given album, and no more than two consecutively. In a three hour period, you can't play more than four tracks by a given artist, and no more than three consecutively. If the webcast is archived, the archive must be at least five hours long, and must not be made available for more than two weeks. The idea here is to make it hard for users to scan through the webcast to pick out and save individual songs. If the webcast repeats itself (plays in a loop) then the loop must be at least three hours long. You must identify the song title, album title, and the featured artist in text during the performance of the song. You must not ``encourage'' users to copy or record the music that you are playing.
Those are the rules that Anime Wave will follow from now on, and we will not knowingly breach them. |
